But if you've read through any of the rest of it, you would already know that.
Anyway, one day Emily Kitsune and Emily R were talking and realized that there are quite a large amount of Emilies in the world. A whole lot. Tons, even. Not only that, most of them are pretty creative. They decided it would be a fun sort of thing to start a site where they could all band together (like pirates!) and show off their talents. So far, only a few people have contributed, but that's ok.
Any time now, the masses will pour in submissions. Especially since it's ok for non-Emilies to send in Emily-inspired works.

the Emily
The Emily who actually got off her ass and put this together (thanks to dan) is 25 year old vegan who lives in Providence,RI, USA (soon with her girlfriend, right now with a roommate named Emma). She is the sandwich bar trainer at Au Bon Pain but plans to get a different job soon. In the meantime, she volunteers with Youth Pride, Inc as a program mentor for the OUTspoken Playaz, as well as hairdresser to the youth. She has numerous self-indulgent webpages that require almost no design on her part, including My me, her livejournal (a diary, ugh), her flickr account, myspace and other such template websites that she might be willing to share if asked nicely. It's a neat sort of thing, being an Emily.
You should send submissions to her. Also, if you're interested in helping redesign this site, she's not too shy to take advice/complete rehauls.
